RE: Numerous Street Rumors

Last year, the big rumor was that rebates would have IOM bleeding huge losses. In fact, Rocky R. (I think) and Joel S. (Definitely) were right up there warning of the impending doom. Looking back we see how wrong this rumor was.

I have followed IOM for a long time. Everyone who has predicted IOM's doom keeps moving the time horizon out. There has always been a product(s) that was going to take IOM out (Remember LS-120. What about CD-R). To date, these predictions have not come to fruition.
Oh, I know, the next product is the charm. For me I am waiting to watch the story unfold.

What about IOM's near-term future. I think the IOM ZIP model is starting to kick in. I think that the trend of improving margins will increase as zip disks revenues expand. What about Nomai? I find it hard to believe that everyone feels that the issue is anywhere near being resolved. Its amazing that some people are already declaring victory for Nomai. My opinion -- the odds are definitely in IOM's favor. BTW, has anyone thought to look at Nomai's financial shape? How well can they wether the expanding legal battle that could extend for some time?

What about the delays? They stink -- plan and simple. This is the biggest negative I see in IOM right now.

What about clik!? It is easy to criticize now because there is nothing available to prove them wrong (kind of like the rebate rumor). I am not sure how succesul clik! will be, but I hear that the potential is enormous.

I have said enough. Back to reading.

Later,

John

P.S.

Rocky indicated earlier that the short of 10+ million validated his opinion of IOM. Just ask him about the short position when IOM was at $10 pre-split.
