You are totally nuts. When you inject multiple trillions of dollars into an industry it may retain elements of the free market but you can no longer blame its ills on the markets. The student loan program, more than any other factor, has raised the cost of education. In the process it has enslaved the poor with student loans they can never hope to repay leaving them permanently poor and uneducated. This is the legacy of government almost everywhere you find it.
