Medicare and Social Security are socialist wealth transfers from hard working Americans to elderly Americans who used to be hard working.

The Republican Party and the Tea Party make no secret of the fact that they want to "reform" these two Entitlement Programs because the majority of Federal spending is being "wasted" on these programs and it's causing the Civilian Labor Force Participation Rate to decline.

Republicans think a cut in Medicare and Social Security benefits by 50% would be a good initial reform of these Entitlement Programs. Eventually they'd like to drown the elderly in a bathtub.
