Kal....I agree...if microsofts' intention was to have the browser become part of the OS then they would have invented it.

However...the history is 'they were caught red handed', 'with their pants down'....and now they want to make it part of the OS just to knock out all competition for access to the internet. If they have their way the only way on the information super highway is going to be thru Redmond, WA.

I'm sorry the internet doesn't need only one on ramp....with MicroSoft as the Gate Keeper. And that's what the entire thing is all about IMO. In addition, I think this is the thing which gets the DOJ on MicroSofts' butt with the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.

As attractive as it may seem to control the Gate....It sould not be allowed.
