Kind of surprised that some of the major gold producers haven't merged, disposed of non-core assets and kept the best production mines. Goldcorp should lead the charge in this, takeover Kinross with shares, then keep the good production going and sell off some lower quality assets. Easy way to generate revenue, more cash flow and shareholder value. I would offer 10 Kinross for 1 Goldcorp share based on price and then you take Goldcorp's common shares to 930 million but add $6 billion in net assets.
