Cisco,

Yes but isn't that S-3/A 11/13/97 definition for a conventional layered slide, with blood and mucous as well as pertinent cellular tissue? What happens when we address the liquid-based or monolayer sytems without those extraneous road maps?

Mr. Gombrich suggests (in his last closing paragraph or two to a Mr. Scott Hinz of AG Edwards/California in the conference call) the TracCell works (strangely enough??) even better with the mono-layer sytems. That is what I gathered from the statement. You'll have to read it and tell me what you get from it. Can anybody help interpret that section? Does the liquid based/monolayers also have empty space?

He also indicated that the mono-layer system "alone" did not provide the cost/effectiveness to a European Lab that converted to the new slide preparation. But that he was going to meet with them and demonstrate how the addition of the AcCell/TracCell combined with the single-layer system would show an improved savings-effectiveness.

It looks as though we are looking at the fourth quarter of '98 for a break-even point. Mr. Gombrich said (I believe again to the AG
Edward analyst) that he would be making himself more public in the first quarter with institutions in an attempt to promote the company and increase the stock-price.

I can wait for the fourth Q of '98 as long as the stock starts showing some signs of life. I believe that AccuMed is making the right moves
to provide that stimulation. The reduction in the work-force and Peter's taking over the role of Burke is going to be putting a large
work-load on his shoulders as well as many others at HQ.

It appears that Gombrich is picking up momentum and thrives when he is running the ball. He knows which way the end-zone is. I like the view from my seat in the stadium, how about you?

Frank
