X-ray, thanks for ALL the stuff you throw at me. Unfortunately,
I don't understand all those 'investment/ta/fa...'.

I wanted to understand, who/how in the world would cause MSFT said
something like that "win95 would be dysfunctional if IE is removed?".

Did MSFT tell consumer that when win95 come out?

Most people didn't buy win95 because of IE, correct?

I owned and will (not now) own MSFT stock, it is such a good money
maker, no brainer with all those PC/hardware price dropping like
flies.

But statement like that make you wonder if someone is GOING NUT
in MSFT? There must be something going on in the industry to drive
someone in MSFT crazy to come up with an excuse like that?

So MSFT intentionally selling dysfunctional OS without telling
consumer? "Deceptive trade practice LAWSUIT" ... "Defective
product LAWSUIT" ... "Incompetent engineering" ...

That kind of statement IS GOING TO HURT.
