>> First you claim that health care reform caused loss of jobs, but can't back it up with any evidence.

Proof that every business in the world decides whether to hire people based in part on the cost of hiring? You need proof of that? In my experience, some people have business sense and others do not. If you do not, it is very difficult to learn it. You might just want to listen to other people on this subject.

The problem is that whatever proof I post you will discount. But there is plenty of solid information on the topic:

>> Next you say that all you have to do is get out of the way and "jobs happen" ... well, the 2007 recession and recessions before it show that it''s not enough to just get out of the way is it?

When you're on the downhill slide of a recession, if you wait it out, the economy will come back. It always has, always does, always will. I do think Bush's TARP program had essentially solved the recession problem before he left office; it was the concern over Obama's incompetence that drove the continued job losses after Obama took office. The stimulus did absolutely nothing, we know that much. The ACA and other measures which made hiring more expensive did hold back employment -- essentially, the same problems created b FDR in the 30s.

I don't really care to argue it again. I do believe the Democrats are predominantly to blame for the recession because it was directly precipitated by their policy. But that's not to say there is not enough blame to go around, or that other factors didn't contribute.
