Bibi is counting on his Republican allies to keep things running smoothly between the US and Israel.

And thus undoing the work of all the previous PM's who were smart enough to make sure support was non-partisan

I don't think Bibi realizes how flaccid is the support among the American masses for Israel. I believe the day is coming when Israel will have to learn to stand on its own two feet.
