Obama and Cruz similar in pedigrees? It's "Politics for Pros" here, FUBHO, Both came from middle class backgrounds with Fathers who were foreigners. Both are Ivy League Constitutional Lawyers, Both ran for Prez as first term Senators. Both are better talkers than listeners. They are political solo-artists in an age that rewards entrepreneurial candidates. They saw the Senate as a stepping-stone to the White House rather than a place to contribute or get something done. Obama ran as the true-believing antiwar liberal Cruz plans to run as the only true-believing, courageous conservative. Obama turned out to be a Muslim Communist. Cruz turned out to be a Evangelical Libertarian.
