Best way to clean up your health is on Dr Davis's core program. I am posting it here with a link in the header.

How can we hope to address health issues as far apart as, say, diabetes, heart disease, ulcerative colitis, osteopenia, or eczema?

Easy! Reflecting the wisdom of the human body, health in one area tends to be reflected as health in others. Conversely, poor health in one area tends to be reflected in poor health in others, also. This explains, for instance, why hypertension, diabetes, overweight and coronary disease tend to cluster together. Or why someone with one autoimmune condition, such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, is likely to develop a second or third autoimmune disease, such as ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, or psoriasis.

So much of what we do in Cureality therefore starts with the same basic program. We apply strategies that apply to virtually everyone regardless of age, sex, race, or health status. We call this the Cureality Core Program, a collection of powerful strategies that everyone should consider. Without our core strategies, full health is not possible and you will encounter either failure or great difficulties in reversing many health conditions or maintaining health. By adopting our core strategies, you stack the odds heavily in your favor of not just addressing the issue(s) most concerning to you, but other aspects of health, even correcting abnormal conditions you didn’t even know you had. The Cureality Core Program provides a powerful start to losing weight, reversing inflammation and autoimmunity, reducing blood pressure, reversing diabetes and reducing blood sugar, improving values on a cholesterol panel, and reducing potential of heart disease, cancer, and dementia. And it also helps you feel wonderful with more energy, less pain, deeper sleep, and better mood.

As always, inform your healthcare provider of the strategies you are adopting. Once you have adopted our core strategies, then it is time to focus on the additional steps discussed in the Cureality health tracks relevant to your health condition

Follow the Cureality Diet

Nothing matches the power of the Cureality Diet to reverse a long list of health conditions from diabetes, to autoimmune conditions, to skin rashes. The Cureality Diet is the cornerstone of everything that follows. Go no further until you have reviewed, adopted, and adhered to the principles laid out in this approach. The Cureality Diet begins with elimination of all wheat and other grains, including rye, barley, corn, and oats. This eliminates opiates that stimulate appetite and exert mind effects, amylopectins that raise blood sugar, gliadin proteins that provoke inflammation and autoimmune conditions, wheat germ agglutinin that disrupts gastrointestinal health, and allergens that provoke asthma and rashes. The first week may involve opiate withdrawal: nausea, fatigue, depression, and headache that results from stopping the gliadin-derived opiates in wheat. But then you begin to feel wonderful.

Fill your diet with real, single-ingredient foods like meats (with the fat), fish, poultry, vegetables, raw or dry roasted nuts and seeds, full-fat dairy products (if you consume dairy), mushrooms, unlimited healthy oils—we do not limit fats or oils!—such as coconut and olive oil, as well as the fats in meats, and modest quantities of fruit. See the Cureality Diet Health Track for a full discussion.

Restore vitamin D

Restoring vitamin D to the ideal level, reflected as a blood level of 25-hydroxy vitamin D of 60-70 ng/ml, reverses its own long list of health conditions. Because many followers of Cureality are near or beyond age 40, the age when much of the skin’s capacity to activate vitamin D with sun exposure is diminished or lost, it requires a nutritional supplement for most people to raise blood levels of 25-hydroxy vitamin D to the desired range. Most common dose to achieve this level: 6000 units per day of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in gelcap form to assure absorption. Blood levels of 25-hydroxy vitamin D are advised every 6 months at the start to gauge the adequacy of dosing. For additional discussion about vitamin D, see the Cureality Bone Health Track.

Ensure normal thyroid status

It is truly surprising that nearly a third of the people who begin Cureality start with abnormal thyroid status. And it’s not because you did something wrong. It’s because you live in an age when disruption of thyroid status is as common as high blood sugars. Disrupted thyroid function is really part of the bigger issue of endocrine gland disruption, but the thyroid is the most susceptible and therefore the most common glandular impediment to health. Grains in the diet, exposure to ubiquitous industrial chemicals that block thyroid function, and iodine deficiency are the three most common reasons for less than perfect thyroid status. The Cureality Diet addresses the grain issue, while choosing food sources, such as organic foods, and taking iodine begin to address chemical exposure and lack of iodine. While the Recommended Daily Allowance of iodine is 150 mcg per day for adults, we aim for what is likely closer to the ideal intake of 500 mcg per day from nutritional supplements, such as kelp tablets or iodine drops. See the Cureality Thyroid Health Track for further discussion.

Supplement omega-3 fatty acids

Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, can only come from fish consumption and fish oil, not from krill, flaxseed, or chia seeds. Benefits from this strategy include protection from cardiovascular diseases, abnormally high triglycerides, cancer, and dementia. We aim for an ideal intake of 3000-3600 mg per day of EPA and DHA, divided into two doses: one with breakfast, one with dinner.

Supplement magnesium

Magnesium deficiency is common due to prior grain consumption, water filtration, and modern agricultural methods that have reduced magnesium content of produce. Because magnesium deficiency carries broad implications for health, we supplement absorbable forms such as magnesium malate, 1200 mg two or three times per day, or magnesium glycerinate, 400 mg two or three times per day.

Manage bowel flora

The modern diet rich in grains and sugars is enormously changes the microorganisms inhabiting the intestinal tract, the bowel flora. We remove these disruptive factors in diet, but bowel flora may not transition on its own to healthy species. We therefore accelerate conversion to healthy bowel flora by taking a high-potency probiotic supplement that provides 30 to 50 billion CFUs per day for 6-8 weeks along with including sources of prebiotic fibers that nourish and cultivate healthy microorganisms. Obtain prebiotic fibers by including one of the following in a morning smoothie: a green unripe banana; a raw peeled potato; 2-4 teaspoons of inulin (purchased at the health food store); 2-3 tablespoons of Bob’s Red Mill raw, unmodified potato starch. Make your smoothie with unsweetened coconut milk, almond milk, full-fat dairy milk, with no more than 1/4-cup berries, a few drops of liquid stevia or your choice of non-nutritive sweetener. When starting, to avoid abdominal discomfort, begin with only half of any one of these fiber sources, then increase over 1-2 weeks to the full amount.
