Reading the comments of the left concerning Ted Cruz is interesting and typical. According to the left he is a crack pot and a mindless idiot. But yet they never point to a specific thing he says he stands for and believes as a reason.
How can anyone have an intelligent debate about issues when issues are never mentioned. When discussing Hillary or Bill or the left in general, the issues etc. are addressed by the right. The right does not just stand back and scream that they are idiots and scum sucking pigs without pointing out the reasons for that assessment.
I would like to hear a left winger who says he despises Ted Cruz explain why. What specific opinions that he holds do they disagree with? To just say he is an idiot is ridiculous. It reveals only the blind bias and hatred for anything conservative.
Cruz went to Princeton University, where he was a national champion debater, and got a law degree from Harvard graduating magna cum laude with a law degree in 1995. He clerked on the appellate court and for Chief Justice William Rehnquist on the Supreme Court. He held numerous prestigious jobs in and out of government. He taught law and was also the solicitor general of Texas and argued before the Supreme Court nine times.
The real reason Ted Cruz is hated so by the left is that a man with his intelligence and education and credentials is seen by them as a traitor to progressive dogma. They simply cannot except that a person of his caliber with his accomplishments and education could possibly be a Constitutional Conservative. Ted Cruz takes an actual stand for his conservative beliefs and makes no apology. Progressives and Rhinos hate him for it.
So to the left I ask, "Why do you despise Ted Cruz? Why do you call him an idiot? What specific things that he believes do you oppose?". To just say he is nuts and everybody knows it is not enough. In my opinion, that attitude and answer reveals who the real nuts are.
