Is stunning we now spend a trillion a year on welfare to keep the poverty rate near the 15% range it was in 1965. I'm guessing the total breakdown of the family in less educated communities is tied in there somewhere<ng> We also spend a trillion on the military industrial complex umbrella of baseline defense, wars, nation building, homeland security prison industrial complex yada yada compared to $300B before Vietnam, star wars and the more recent so called war on terror. Basically need a reset to the Eisenhower years but neither party has the balls to do it. Yeah think even so called 'pure' constitutional conservative types like a Ted Cruz will look Adelson in the eye before that big donation and tell him no mas dineros for Israel and your tax rates going back up to 1955 levels? I also think very little of the left as you do. So we are used as punching bags for both sides who have now all become mind numbing drones taking us to a very dark place keeping the ball in the fed's hand's to 'save' us.
