I agree the the processor & Memory will very important. However, IBM also has huge economy of scale in it's uProccessor business you shouldn't dismiss. Has anyone priced a 200 mHz PowerPC chip lately ?, it's going to get cheaper also. After all, both Mot. and IBM have big incentives to get these processors into the U.S. market.

I was told that Pentium was a CMOS process, is that true ? Could have sworn someone said it was Bicmos earlier.
