Why do the market makers want the stock to move below a cetain price?

Isn't the only thing they do is match buyers with sellers. Their object is to hold shares for as little time as possible and take no risk. They merely sit in the middle of transactions with no vested interest in which way the stock goes. The spread gets larger the more volatile a stock is so the MM's have less chance of getting burned.

As far as listening to Ben Yeung, I struggle to take advice from a 22 year old student at Pepperdine University, who from his personal profile, under the investment experience section, writes "Blessed at Birth." I think Victor Niederhoffer felt the same way about himself, and it only cost his investors $150mm.

As far as this guy Fenton is concerned, although I have only read a few of his posts, his post concerning $.69 whisper number, etc. is completely erroneous and seems to be some form of misinformation. I have no ability to comment on whether his calls have been right or wrong, because I don't visit this thread that often. All I know is that I can flip a coin, and sometimes it comes up heads 5 or 10 times in a row.

My opinion.
