Canadians are very proud of their Planned Parenthood organizations. It is gratifying to see Christians referring their children to clinics for birth control, counselling, and the prevention of unwanted pregnancies.
In Canada, Christians and non-Christians show their support for birth control and reproductive health resources. Families are proud in knowing that young and old can access counselling and resources to deal with sexual issues.
5. Planned Parenthood Organizations in Canada
The Planned Parenthood Federation of Canada (P.P.F.C.) is a national non-profit organization that provides services, information and counselling on sexual and reproductive health issues. The national organization is a reliable source of information, resources and links to other organizations on many of the topics presented in the Sourcebook.
Independent provincial and local Planned Parenthood affiliates in 68 communities across Canada provide clinical services, education and counselling. Local Planned Parenthoods can provide educational materials, speakers, client services and referrals related to sexual and reproductive health issues.
