FutureTrak International, Inc. December 17, 1997 Symbol: FTRK OTC Bulletin Board
FutureTrak specializes in DBS, digital broadcast satellite communications. The company is presently concentrating its sales efforts on the marine and mobile satellite television and communications markets. The company has recently been approved for NASD Bulletin Board Listing and is published in the Standard and Poor's Corporate Records Manual, following a $1,000,000 dollar capital financing completed in September 1997 for one million shares of common stock.
FutureTrak produces and markets a state-of-the-art comprehensive satellite tracking system. The system is composed of two interchangeable, compatible products; the Space Scanner TM and Micro Planar TM Antenna.
1. The Space Scanner is German engineered for speed and dependability and its ACU, antenna control unit, is capable of being programmed for multiple satellites, up to 36, with the ability to track from one to another within seconds. This automatic tracking system is expected to establish the industry standard in size, weight, mobility, durability, flexibility and price.
Projected sales of the Space Scanner are at a rate of 750 units per month in the first quarter of 1998, ramping up to 3,000 units per month toward the end of the year. Sales of the Space Scanner tracking system are expected to be between $2.5 million and $3.0 million for the first quarter. Annual sales should be in excess of $20 million with a year end run rate of approximately $40 million dollars.
2. The Micro Planar antenna is a new flat, revolutionary antenna, which FutureTrak believes, will ultimately replace the traditional parabolic "Dish", the industry standard for the past 25 years.
The Micro Planar flat array antenna is currently undergoing final modifications for certification testing. The company is in negotiations for a manufacturing and distribution agreement with two Fortune 100 companies, which should be finalized during the first quarter. FutureTrak currently envisions antenna sales that could easily exceed 1 million units during 1998.
FutureTrak has been producing and selling the Space Scanner product since October 1997. Their initial targeted geographic territory is North America soon to be followed in South America by the second quarter of 1998. Their distribution channel currently consists of several established satellite and marine product distributors. FutureTrak envisions broad and expansive growth during calendar year 1998.
