There is long term chart support around at 10.5. If it breaks this
support than I would exit the position and wait till it establishes
a new base. If I don't see significant write-offs or restatement
of earnings for the next quarter and the base holds I would
consider buying it back.

My analysis is based on probability not on revealed truth. Aames
is under momemtum selling pressure and end of year portfolio
purging. If the story on earnings changes I'm out. I try not to
get emotionally involved in this stuff.
