Speaking of "persistent" ...

1) Turn off that annoying audio icon in your favorite browser
2) Open up SI under a different browser
3) Prepare to be annoyed

Apparently, it's a COOKIE.

Which explains why it's not in a member's "Settings".

Which means that anybody who judiciously cleans up their cache from time to time will be "rewarded" with the annoying audio blips the next time he logs into his favorite browser.

Or, anytime you logon to a system at the public library, all those annoying audio blips will bug the people at the station next to yours.

Seems to me this wasn't thought through very well.

But, let's not get too negative.

Let's discuss the positive aspects.

Uh ...

Hmmmm ...

OK, you go first.

Sure is a pretty day.
