ST. PAUL, Minn., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Secure Computing Corporation
(Nasdaq: SCUR), a leading provider of total network security solutions, today
announced that it is teaming with Cisco Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO), the
worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, to centralize network
security administration.
CiscoSecure Access Control Server (ACS) V2.2 for UNIX , one of many
solutions in Cisco's suite of specialized, security software solutions for
authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA), can now administer Secure
Computing's SafeWord family of strong authentication products, providing
convenient, integrated administration for secure access control. To promote
the solution, Secure Computing will offer CiscoSecure ACS for UNIX customers a
special SafeWord Starter Kit.
"Cisco's leadership in delivering 'best in class' internetworking
solutions to a worldwide customer base represents an excellent opportunity for
Secure Computing to reach and serve new customers," said Christine Hughes,
