Tell me, with all of this post-modern political correctness, psychology, sociology, and "sensitivity training," why are we still having to deal with the same damn things in every generation of young Americans?
I can tell you but you won't believe me. By way of background, in high school, I hung out with guys who were basically upper middle class......one was upper class. Great guys and they knew things were not good for my family after my father died so they took me under their wing. I got to scuba dive and water ski and snow ski...........things I could not have done without their help. Then I went to school and pledged SAE. The frat. was made up of guys from rich east coast families......the descendants of fortune 500 founders. I am sure you saw the same at Cornell. They were very different from the guys I knew in high school. They were rich, good looking and entitled.......and racist....much like the guys in the video. They thought the world owed them and even believed the laws of physics didn't apply to them.
These people own America. They do not have to change. They are the dominant members in our culture. That's why I was not surprised by Romney 47% comments. If you have hung out with these people, you know that's how they think. The person who planted the video knew that. It took two years for me to figure it out; so then, when they stopped my friend, Hunter, from becoming a brother, I cut the cord. The irony is Hunter's dad was a surgeon. They lived in Westchester. Hunter was very handsome. He was more like them than I was.........but then Hunter was black.
They will only change if forced to change.........and even then, they know ways around the law. |
