More or less rude hill tribes, probably illiterate wandering raiders, with very little & almost no artistic skill or technological skill sets that ;left any traces at all.
And the Egyptians especially who we have 1000's of historical documents saved from those past eras mention 'Israelites' almost never, only perhaps two very weak possible mentions in span of over 1000yrs, in other words zip.
This translates into the knowledgable doctors of the sciences of archaeology & geology as them having many side smiles, hiccups with lots of banter, then only nervous desperate evasions & deflections for fantasy believers & ivory towered Abrahamic apologists.
