I am sure the Clintons wanted the email scandal out never, and thought they could arrange it.

This is just the usual way they handle their scandals.

What Democrats have to worry about is the Sword of Damocles hanging over their heads. Hillary's email server was not secure. Not the kind of security the SoS needs. So foreign intelligence agencies almost certainly have her mail, and who knows who else, Romanian hackers maybe, like the one who leaked some of Sidney Blumenthal's mail? Any of these may decide on select leaks designed to embarrass at some later date.
