>> I wonder what other presidents you might use those terms for. I get the feeling that you don't like Jimmy Carter. Have you ever called him childish or impudent?

I never thought for a second Carter was childish or impudent; at least not while he was president. I did, BTW, vote for Carter.

>> How about Clinton or JFK or FDR?

Of these three I believe JFK could have made the best president had he not been killed. Clinton is vastly over-rated and always has been, even when he governor in my state. In retrospect he certainly has some childish traits. Not generally impudent but he is, of course, toward women, as I guess you would say many womanizers are.

FDR was different in that he believed what he said, for the most part, and he did possess elements of greatness. While his economic policy was really bad, he was an excellent wartime president. But the programs of the era, particularly Social Security, were failures by his own measuring stick and I believe if he were walking around today he would see it as a failure. And probably have what it took to admit it.

Barack Obama is easily the least qualified person ever to hold the presidency of the US. The damage he has done is incalculable and if he isn't stopped pretty quickly it could become permanent. You simply cannot elect a man with no meaningful experience to the presidency of the United States and expect him to be able to handle the job. He has no competence or skills that would permit that. In effect, he was a really good actor and he got elected twice on that basis. The American People are entitled to make that mistake but it is a costly and devastating result of party politics having gotten out of control mixed with widespread ignorance and complacency.

Bush was highly competent and dead serious. Qualified in every respect for the job and he performed well, for the most part. The principal mistakes I thought he made at time were, in retrospect not mistakes at all and in fact are in many ways what Barack Obama has done differently that resulted in his failure. Bush negotiated in good faith with Democrats and while it cost us a lot of money, I can see now that it it DID allow him to get stuff done that had to be done.

It is a sad thing to me that so many of you have been subsumed with ignorance on the subject. But the facts are today that Bush is more popular than Obama so most people in the country now recognize that Bush, in retrospect, at least knew WTF he was doing. Obama's a bumbling idiot and only nutjobs can't see that at this point.
