The fundamentals would support a correction. As I mentioned before, the strong dollar ate into a lot of profits, this earnings season is going to be mediocre. With the dollar holding its ground (especially with the unstable situation in Europe), I don't see stocks and commodities making a big move higher for the near term.

I'm still short crude DWTI. This is a short term trade (2-4 weeks). Over the longer term, I do believe crude is going to move much higher by the end of the year. At that point I will use UWTI and future spreads to profit off the move. (Disclaimer: DWTI/UWTI like all leveraged ETFs are pretty crappy if held for more than a week, only way to profit is to use very tight stops).

This has been a good year so far to be trading commodities. I managed to pay off the last of my student loans a couple of weeks ago thanks to trading. Thanks GZero, FCom, fred, DD, Hawkmoon, robert, GoodGord, POKERSAM, cycle, h_ and everyone else who contributes here!
