I have no idea who wrote that or who his intended audience was. But that paragraph does not describe the law as it stands today. In most of the states today you can refuse service to a person on the basis that you don't serve gays and there isn't a damned thing they can do about it.

That article appears to be a typical ezine article for a SEO optimazation company (and apparently, their service works; it got you, didn't it?)

As I mentioned there are states where they have enacted laws which prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation, but until these are tested against religious grounds in the Supreme Court we want know for certain. But it would be UFB if the Court gave sexual orientation preference over a religious refusal. That would be something as it would be at odds with the Constitution.
