To me it just seems ridiculous that he didn't know how that religious law would play out. If he couldn't figure out something as easy as that then I certainly don't want him trying to figure out what the Iranians are doing. It's like the head of the Secret Service saying he didn't know that his agents were drunk and running over crime scenes for 5 days. I KNEW it and anybody on the internet knew it within hours of it happening.
