Specifically I am in the accumulation stage on a number of bearish 3x ETF's.

I like playing them, because more or less they are readily transparent and they track the markets relatively well. Also the price of admission is cheap.

The trick is not to hold them for the 'long term' as the mathematics (decay) behind these instruments will kill you if there is not a trend in play.

At this point in time, the market appears to be in an oscillating range... which will probably lead to a more significant trend change - however we are not yet there.

So I accumulate, ponder & wait.

As I said I am in the accumulation stage as opposed to the so far 'tentative' distribution that I see in the more senior markets.

These type of markets with the volatility that is inherent in them can be a trader's best friend.
