Greece will soon leave the Euro zone and return to their previous currency, then Italy and Portugal will soon follow... and then, all the other Euro zone countries will rush to the exit... the Euro was a socialist experiment doomed to failure... here's why: when a country's economy is weak, their currency typically also weakens, this makes their exports cheaper and easier to buy elsewhere... their increase in export sales helps to boost their weak economy and put that country back on its feet again... but, when all the countries are sharing the same currency, that can't happen, instead one weak country drags all the others down with them, and this is exactly what we see... It was a stupid idea in the first place and I'm only surprised that it took this long to collapse... the Euro will eventually go to zero and become extinct and all the Euro zone countries will return to their previous currencies, this will be a good thing, this will only boost all of their economies independently eventually... This doesn't mean the USD has to continue higher, once the European economies improve in the post-Euro era, the USD will again find its properly competitive level... I'm certainly not an economist, but this just seems like good old common sense to me... GZ
