<Obviously Swiss cash has been a great place to be for the unpeg... now... who knows, I tend to think it's worth paying up to a point, sort of like a safety deposit box :-)<
So what you are saying.. At least, I think you are saying. Is that I have made a set of decisions based on the concept of capital preservation.. Taking a stack of cash and bringing it off the table.. Removing it from large scale risk and out of the hands of the meddling US Govt.
As you noted on the other thread.

Of course, when this does transpire.. Then those of us that made "good decisions" and "took our ball and went home" will be the "evil 1%'ers".. Those that made poor decisions will bitch about "income inequality" and how "the system is stacked against them", and how "UNFAIR THE SYSTEM IS".
Sound familiar???
There are many, many self-made millionaires like myself that became wealthy through a sequence of "good prudent decision making", and perhaps a bit of self-made LUCK.
The Liberals HATE stories like mine, because it goes against everything they believe in.
Concepts like "Self Responsibility" and "Self Reliance"
Liberals some how have come to the concept that they are far more intelligent, far more ethical, and far more educated than Conservatives. So when they see that the Conservatives amass wealth, and they have been unable to. Then the only logical explanation in their eyes is that the Conservatives have achieved this wealth through corruption, and exploitation. Because it can't possibly be due to them being smarter, or their decision making process...
The key to success in live is the ability to point one's finger outward, then turning that finger to point right back at themselves.
I have achieved my wealth, and I have no intention to leave my monies exposed in a banking system that is subject to the forfeiture and meddling of a corrupt bureaucracy. So I am more than happy to pay my 3/4 point for the "safe deposit box" of Swiss Bank. Someone is going to have to pay for all the poor decision making of the LOSERS. And that my friend.. Will not be me.
