The US is not all that high on the list of Iran's concerns. Virtually all of their neighbors would be happy to see them wiped off the map, until recently the top of the list was Iraq. But we changed Iraq into an ally of Iran. But the others like Egypt and the Saudis, just to name two, wouldn't shed a tear if Iran was wiped out.
