I see that California doesn't allow judges from being involved with the Boy Scouts:

The news that California will ban its judges from participation in the Boy Scouts has been on my mind since it was announced Friday. ....

How long before California bans judges from belonging to churches more conservative than Unitarian-Universalists or from practicing Orthodox Judaism? Why stop with judges? Why not ban teachers who belong to churches or synagogues that don't affirm liberal dogma? And ban religious schools unless the school's affirm liberal dogma? That's one of the things the Emperor Julian did when he tried to make the Roman empire pagan again .... he banned Christians from teaching Greek and Roman classics used to teach language and rhetoric since they didn't worship the Greek and Roman gods.
