According to ESPN, Kentucky was 6-0 vs teams in the Top 25 vs Wisconsin who was 4-2. Kentucky's strength of schedule was 45 vs. Wisconsin at 16. Kentucky's RPI was still #1 in the US vs. Wisconsin at #2. See: espn.go.com. BTW, Kentucky losing cost merchandisers $15M by not completing their season undefeated.
