For whatever it's worth, on the Taking Stock segment of CNBC
a few minutes ago, a Value Line portfolio manager "pounded the table" for SLB, HAL, and RIG.
He reiterated what many of us already know-that the fundamentals
are superb and that the selling of the past two months was based
on fears/concerns that are unfounded(unfortunately, most of
the corrections I've experienced are based on fears that never
get borne out-remember the early '97 correction). The fears/
concerns were utter bullshit then and are the same now..
