Just about everything is down

True but BORL is down more than it should be. I just did some 30 day charts (which puts a base for BORL at about 11 and kinder than if it could be if it picked up the $12 high)

BORL is off 27% compared to the 7% decline in COMP (computer average).
ORCL is worse off 40% (and BORl may have followed ORCL which may explain some of its poor performance) INTC sits exactly at 7% down and MSFt at 3% down...you can look up the rest.

Why the relatively bad performance for BORL ...dunno but maybe

1)People tend to jump out when they see a stock falling...a lot of investors have simple rules like sell on a 10% fall or 30 % fall or whatever

2)People can still sell at these levels and make a profit for the year.. a lot of guys bought in at 6

TI think the worst is over...eventually people will see BORL as a bargain at current prices... with a good Jan result, the resolution of the merger instability and "the January effect" we should revist the 52 week high of 12 about 27-31 Jan. Go BORL
