Ok, it sounds like the MXi will deliver about 2 million fully rendered trianges per second (a little better than the current voodoo, I believe). The stand alone processor core will deliver 10 million transfromed trianges per second to an external rendering engine (like the Voodoo 2). I just wanted to point out the level of integration that the market will see in the low cost desktop arena. MXi based systems will cost below $1000. The integrated graphics will be good enough for most. Hard core gamers will want to spend an extra $300 for a Voodoo 2 card.

PS: When you point out that the Voodoo 2 will do 50 billion operations per second to the MXi's 1 billion, please also explain why it's 3d performance will only be twice as fast. I suspect that integration has something to do with it.
