Actually, that was a programming glitch, instead of an "intrusive ad". That actual text appeared in the ad box where the "intrusive ad" would normally go. And, it appeared during multiple page displays. But, you're right. Intrusive ads and censorship won't win them any Brownie points. In particular, censorship. Especially censorship from threads that are intended to be discussions on SI itself. I don't much care for censorship. Have I mentioned lately that ... CENSORSHIP SUX !!! You'd think a Vietnam Vet like myself, who served his country to protect the right of Free Speech for ALL American citizens, would have earned at least a LITTLE leeway and a teeny-weeny buffer from overly restrictive side Admins. But, noooooo .... Just in case you missed it ... I am a firm believer that ... CENSORSHIP SUX !!! Oh, and about those logos. And, those dropdown menus. And, making lifetime members of SI prove they paid for membership almost 2 decades ago. And, those spinning clocks. And, ... ... ad infinitum CENSORSHIP SUX !!! Sure is a pretty day. TED
