Coopie: Anti-takeover provisions stink, they should be illegal. Lets face it all that they address is hostile takeovers. In a hostile takeover share-holders win because there is a run-up in the share price. What these provisions do is to make sure that management/board can arange some insider take-over deal and come out of it smelling like a rose while the individual shareholder gets shafted. Look at the ZLG deal if you want to see what I mean. Slob
