Jim, Re -- If we can eventually get the web over the TV for $199, I doubt the majority of people will pay $2K for a PC anymore You and many others are overlooking the fact that the Web TV/SetTop box is only one of the lines of Intel's PC business. In fact the SetTop box will be additional revenue. The WebTV/Settop is NOT a replacement of the PC (due to its limited functionality -- graphics) In fact Intel in its analyst meeting pointed out (and are corraborated by the various surveys, IDC, instat etc.) that the distribution of the various price points were constant, and varied only about a few percentage points.
