Al, the funny thing about the cost argument is that the one who introduced me to it was SilentZ. This was when I was discussing with him my opposition to the death penalty and my reason why, which is basically there's no way to undo it. In support of my stance, he then gave me another reason to oppose it. He informed me that it is actually more expensive to keep inmates on death row than it is to just lock them away for life. I wasn't aware of it before, but I have him to thank for letting me know. But maybe SilentZ is all about the money as well, AMIRITE? Tenchusatsu
