Objectively, Reagan was probably the best president of the century other than TR. Some would argue other than FDR, but that's a hard case to make due to FDR's mishandling of the Depression. Either way, I don't think, when a president gets at most two 4-year terms, there is any way to make the argument that one of the best couple of presidents in a century was anything other than spectacular.

Yes, he was easily the greatest president of our time. JFK might have been, but you know how that ended.

By ending the Cold War, single handedly, Reagan insured his place in history. That was, pretty much, the biggest event in the last half of the last century.

I wish we had another like him.
