At risk of sounding like a cheerleader, perhaps the biggest challenge with BZI is to be able to hang onto it for the long run. That and the life insurance thing that WDL mentioned. I had my first thought about Paul's carbon form before BZI made its first pf investment, when BZI was all about apps. Who could step in and carry out that original BZI vision but Paul? No one. I also thought about this topic after it made its big ITM investment.
So yes, I believe it is a legitimate concern because BZI IS Paul. But to allow, let's call it 'succession planning' from stopping me from owning BZI in quantity (for me and relatively speaking) with him so darned fit and youthful, no way and a big LOL to that.
If you want to worry about 'succession' planning for a healthy, clean living guy like dids, geez just look around at the REAL problems we have in the world, my friends. These forums where nothing seems to matter other than the pure pursuit of MONEY is no different from a fantasy world, an escape from the real problems and conditions of the world, not unlike the Stanley Cup playoffs, EA Fantasy Hockey and WarCraft.
I will wish Dids a long, wonderful life on a personal level, I don't have time to worry about it from a BZI succession planning point of view. That worry will need to get in line! |
