Obama was WRONG! Palin's plan worked.
“After the Russian Army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama’s reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence, the kind of response that would only encourage Russia’s Putin to invade Ukraine next,” Palin told Foreign Policy in 2008.
President Obama telling Medvedev to tell Vladimir: "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility."
Palin right again!

In fact, Palin makes four claims about crises that would result from the election of Barack Obama (which was about two weeks away from the moment that Palin was speaking).
That Obama will sit down with the world's worst dictators without conditions, and meet with Iranians.
Invading the sovereign territory of Pakistan.
Opposed the surge in Iraq, and wants to pull troops out which would just mean that troops would have to go back in.
That Putin might invade Ukraine after Georgia ....

Note: The above article was written after Russia had seized an airport in Crimea and concludes Palin was wrong because that wasn't a real invasion. Of course, now Russia has invaded Ukraine. Obama is sitting down with the world's worst dictators, a new one this weekend, without conditions and is negotiating unsuccessfully with Iranians while they stall for time to develop their nuclear weapons program. The Mideast is on the verge of a nuclear arms race .... Clearly a crisis and that makes another accurate Palin prediction.
While not a crisis, we did invade Pakistan to kill bin Ladin. I won't count that as a successful prediction though.
Iraq did pull all troops out of Iraq, then ISIS invaded from Syria, established a caliphate and is horrifying the world with filmed atrocities daily and weekly. And by the way, American troops are back in Iraq:

Liberals and the media go on and on about how stupid Palin is, but frankly Obama makes her look like a blooming genius. |
