Jim

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, work interfered!

For me, exiting with profit seems to be a different strategy for each company.....with some I take a small profit as quickly as possible....with others, I wait and try to "maximize".....with others, I'll sell my shares a bit at a time until I have recovered the initial investment plus a small profit and still have some shares left to really try for more of a gain.....if all of my strategies worked all of the time, then I probably wouldn't be posting here....I'd be cruising around the world :)

I am a fundamental analysis kind of investor and have been fortunate so far....but I am real interested in learning about as many exit strategies as I can.....this way, when I don't follow any of them, I can really say "but you knew better!!!"
