tejek, there are two candidates that have a high probability of being President: Hillary and Jeb Bush. These are the folks that the independents are going to go for. And we know that it is the Independents that decide; not Democrats and Republicans. It also says one more thing: the candidate for President should pretty much run in the Center of the political spectrum.

So yes the Warren crowd is lurking out there. But little do they know that a President Warren will not get anything done with her current stance. We just have to look at Obama and Bill. Bill is the friendlier of the two and no wonder they call him "Slick Willie". Obama could have been friendlier in spite of the "white Republicans" hating him for his race. They wanted to shut him out because of his color and he did not challenge that by being friendlier. He always went back to his family to have dinner with them. So it is very important that a President does the stretching to meet the opposition not just half way but more than that. And a President Warren is not that person. Worse still a Warren-Sanders ticket will be a disaster since both keep "complaining". And people don't like that. They like the forward looking. Things like "Yes we can"; "I have a dream"; "The shining star on the hill"; "We are our brother's keeper"; "A thousand points of light" etc.

HIllary failed to come up with a positive catch phrase yesterday. But that should be OK, since all the others are running against her, which is not positive or forward looking either. And I agree with Metacomet, that Hillary should tell us what she would do for us as President. We all know that the US President is a voice for us and not a voice for say Israel. Maybe in her message yesterday, there was a subliminal message that she will not be a voice for Wall Street. Who knows. Let us see how people perceive her message or how her team spins it.

I love this debate that Metacomet and you have started.
