Fox News, which has been the #1 cable news channel for the last 13 years running, not only beats their competitors in the primetime, but during the daytime as well.
Two shows specifically, the morning news/talk show “Fox and Friends,” and the evening news program “Special Report with Bret Baier,” are beating their competition in top markets across the country.
According to AdWeek:
“Fox & Friends is outpacing CBS This Morning and ABC’s Good Morning America in at least nine markets. In Atlanta, Fox & Friends has been beating CBS This Morning (and its predecessors) in households for 12 years. And Fox’s show has been beating CBS’s in Detroit for 11 years.
In the evenings, Special Report with Bret Baier is besting the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley and ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir in at least eight markets.”
Fox News, which is only 18 years old, consistently brings back their viewers, leading the industry in ratings in nearly every category for more than a decade.

TVNewser reported in January that Fox “had the top 14 cable news programs in total viewers” since February of last year.
Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes is happy to see his company’s success:
“We are pleased to be making serious inroads in major markets with both the broadcast morning shows and evening newscasts.”
Despite being accused of biased reporting, a 2013 Public Polling Policy Poll found that Fox was the most trusted media outlet over 2nd place PBS by more than 20 percent.
