that quote of $13/kg i reference says for high purity niobium, so greater than 99% purity, not ferronb, which is 60-70% niobium, which i know you know.

the key lerner patent if i understand is a way to evaporate and collect nbcl5 offgases from the reagent bed and ultimately 99%+ purity niobium is the end product. however, the global market for pure niobium is relatively small, 1000 tons or less.

nemegosenda will not find a large enough market presently to supply only high purity niobium, so they have to look at ferroniobium.

I have highlighted the figure of $13/kg, because it showed that nemegosenda could produce high purity 99% niobium for a price lower than any development or production stage company i could find.
