Don't you think the penalties are a little severe for the offense of hurting your children's eyes?

Something needs to be done, for sure. Some shift away from policies that are clearly not working.

The laws do not prevent drug use. The jails don't either. People keep using.

Your solution offered earlier about simply executing all drug users would work, I suppose.

I can imagine the debate of the bill in Congress.

So short of killing anyone that smokes a joint, what else can be done?

Meanwhile drug shipments from Mexico are down substantially. Why? Because some places have allowed people to grow their own. Relaxation of these laws in the US put a hurt on the cartels. Improving our national security.

Our current system allows these criminal groups to flourish and prosper. Degrading our national security.
