Those in particular? Maybe not. The ones sitting at home, probably were. Which is why Obama sat on his hands.

What we don't do, haven't traditionally done at least, is to (a) give away the store, and (b) put enemies in the position develop nuclear weapons

And we have done neither. People who actually know things think the deal is remarkably tough on Iran.

Then some Republican has to come along and sort out the problems.

Right. Like the way Reagan kept the Pakistanis from getting what are now pretty sophisticated nuclear weapons. Yeah, that really sorted things out. Or how he sorted things out in Lebanon. I can't think of anything the Republicans have actually sorted out internationally except maybe Nixon with China.
