Dave, I'm in the same boat, watching my holdings go down the tubes and trying to decide to cut significant loss, or hold on and hope that the market will turn around with my stocks at least coming back some. My profitable ones are now below my cost (BORL, ASPX) and others down quite a bit more that I am holding because they are so low that the risk of holding seems to outweigh selling at a substantial loss. But as Lynch said (I believe), never assume a stock won't go to zero. So these are tought times. Southeast asia really started to the turn, and I am beginning to wonder if a real correction or bear is in the offing. I do dollar cost average into mutual funds, but if the bear rules, they will go south too. Just bought CACC today, a stock I made a few dollars in before. It is down real low and hope it will pop back up. But it seems everyone is nervous, and I consider myself a novice. I enjoy it, but things are getting SERIOUS!! As for Bud, ugh. It all depends on your point of view, but is the religous right going to turn this stock around, I'm not optomistic. Take care, Bill |
